The name "Peter Bell" has long been synonymous in South East Queensland with superior quality design and housing construction.

Peter and Margaret Bell have been operating the business since September, 1968 beginning with a design consultancy firm - Peter A. Bell and Associates, with Peter's designs creating and edge in individual home designs winning widespread client and industry acclaim throughout Australia.

In 1982, Peter Bell Homes was formed when it became apparent that the market needed a totally professional, exclusive and comprehensive "one-stop" service with each job being controlled from start to finish. The aim was to provide a service where one could have a home individually designed, custom built and finished by one professional at the forefront of the building industry.

Today, 108 awards - more than any other builder or designer from the Queensland Master Builder's Association, Housing Industry Association and other Industry Awards give testimony to the Company's success, innovation and creativity.

The Company is extremely proud to be a fourth generation family business starting with Peter's Grandfather, continued with Peter's father and now he is lucky to be joined by both of his own sons. Margaret Bell has received the "Company Performance Award" in the "Top Women in Housing" competition and also receiving the top award - "Top Woman in Housing."

Peter is a member of the Q.M.B.A, the H.I.A and the B.D.A.Q and has been a H.I.A. Councillor since 1972 and a member of the H.I.A. Technical Committee.

As there are no standard plans, every home is custom designed working in the client's brief and budget to create an exclusive, practical and liveable home harmonising with its surroundings and thereby producing a well-balanced, properly planned integrated unit.
